Elementary school
Delivering
stimulating knowledge and a comprehensive learning process at a personalized
pace.
Elementary school from Kindergarten to Grade 6 is an exciting time of
growth, exploration, and discovery. Our elementary educational programs help
students build a strong foundation of learning that will help carry them
through the rest of their time in school, and into the future. We focus our energies
on shaping an all-round student, not only academically, but socially as we work
closely with parents and their community partners to create strong future
leaders and compassionate citizens of our society.
With this in mind, we make every effort to provide a safe and caring
school environment where students are given a multitude of opportunities to cultivate
good habits, personable character and social responsibilities. They learn to
appreciate individuals of diverse physical and intellectual abilities.
We offer a
platform for inquisitive and keen children while focusing on developing young
minds encouraging them to be more knowledgeable and skillful. Our well organized
curriculum covers Language, Mathematics, Technology, Science, Global Issues, Social
Studies, Geography, History, Health Education, Physical Education, and Music.
These stages
provide appropriate study material covering textbooks, educational videos,
workbooks, online scholarly journals, etc. We believe today’s technology is a dynamic
part of the education process which makes the program interactive for students
of all levels. Students discover their hidden talents in our nurturing
environment and will be able to explore them effectively.
The
atmosphere of the Elementary School centers on developing excellent study
habits and help teach students how to create and maintain a school-social
balance. Extracurricular activities including Physical Education make up a
fascinating part of our educational program. We encourage parents to teach their children
early on to help each other lead and follow by example to:
- understand themselves
and others
- think critically - make
and promote healthy choices
- develop and maintain
healthy relationships
- be safe, physically,
mentally and emotionally
- be physically and mentally
active for live and thrive
- be courteous and
respectful to all parents, teachers, elders and schoolmates
- interact positively with
persons of all walks of life
- incorporate healthy
eating habits for a better physical wellbeing
Play is integral
to the academic environment of all students; every child deserves the opportunity to develop
to their unique potential.
It has been shown to help children adjust to the school setting and even to
enhance children’s learning readiness, learning behaviors, and problem-solving
skills. Play contributes to the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional
well-being of children and youth and offers an ideal opportunity for parents to
engage fully with their children.
Playtime
allows children to use their creativity
while developing their imagination, dexterity, physical, cognitive, and
emotional strength. Play is important to healthy brain development. It
is through play that children at a very early age engage and interact in the
world around them.
