Credit courses for grade 9

We do our utmost to enhance your education with professionalism when you do credit courses with us.  A basic guideline of what we offer:

X  All Course must have minimum 110 hours study required plus all requisite Test, Quizzes, Assignments, Classwork, Final exams completed, to earn credit.

X  We provide Ontario Provincial Report Card for High School Credit Courses. Our Credits are accepted by all Canadian Universities, Colleges and Schools.

X  We also provide Career/Credit Counselling and Program selection Guidance.

 

 

High School Credit Courses offered in Class for Grade 9 students:

Courses in grade 9, 10, 11 & 12 may have prerequisites for enrollment. A prerequisite is an academic requirement which must be satisfied before or during enrollment in a desired class.

 

Every Grade 9 student in an Ontario high school takes eight courses of which the following seven are compulsory: Math, English, French, Geography, Physical Education, Science, and one Arts course (Drama, Visual Arts, Dance, or Music).

The eighth course is an elective and students can choose from - Introduction to Information Technology (Business), Integrated Technologies (Tech) or Spanish (Grade 10 Beginner).

In grade nine, academic or applied courses are offered in Math, Science, English, French, and Geography. It is important that grade 8 students listen carefully to the suggestions of their current teachers and counsellors when completing the option sheet for High School.

 

Each semester is comprised of four 75 minute classes. Semester 1 runs from September to January. Semester 2 runs from February to June. Students entering Grade 9 in September can begin accumulating their community hours before beginning grade nine in July, following their completion of grade eight.

 

All students entering Grade 9 must write the OSSLT (Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test) in their Grade 10 year.

In addition to classes from Grades 9 to 12 we also offer:

X  High School credit courses for Adult/Mature Students, International Students and University/College Students (missing credits, grade upgrades, switching programs in University/College). There is no age limit but conditions may apply.

X  All Main Subjects and Electives (Grade 9 to 12), Fast-tracked batches, Flexible timings, Evening and weekends, 1 on 1 Teaching, extensive course selection (Total of 73 High School Courses).
