Children’s artistic expression is a vital part of enriching their experience and freedom. In this curriculum, we will be teaching foundational techniques and an introductory journey through the known tools and contemporary mediums. Children will gain experience handling a wide variety of materials and learn the basics of tool preparation, safety, and cleaning. While acquiring a new understanding of art as a method of communication and self-expression.

ART COMBO 2
Cultural awareness and celebration of heritage through art is central to the Canadian Ethos. In this curriculum, we will build upon the skills and tools established from the Beginner’s class. We will introduce a myriad of traditional arts and crafts for children from around the world and Canada, and its significance to their country and culture. We will touch upon the historical and societal values instilled in the art pieces and elaborate on the creative process required to produce each item.

ART COMBO 3
Students will be introduced to a more focused approach on conventional disciplines of visual arts. This is a more in-depth class dedicated to teaching popular advanced applications of drawing and painting. Students will be expected to handle more nuanced creative discussions and artistic critiques.

Portfolio
Students will be focusing on improving their fundamentals and prioritizing building intentional pieces to supplement their portfolios. Each art project is designed to help showcase the student’s skill level and improve the overall impression of their work. Students will be provided exercises that help them prepare for post-secondary and professional creative projects.

Adults Program
This program is meant to provide a creative avenue for all ages above 18. Students of varying creative skill levels are welcome. The Program is Designed to touch base on multiple visual art disciplines while having it all connected to a single 12 – week long project. Students will have the opportunity to produce their own product prototype, this product will demand creative visuals and design aptitude of all levels. Students will conceptualize, produce, and playtest their prototypes on the final day.
