The school put unremitting hard work in students to
achieve their desired educational goals. We pride ourselves on giving our local

exceedingly knowledgeable teachers.
We offer at
high school and secondary school levels:

full-time and part-time programs
X
for full-time students –
î
Ontario Secondary School Diploma
Program (OSSD, Grade 9-12)
î
University Preparation Program
(Grade 12).
X
For part-time students - we offer
night school and after school help.
We also offer OSSD for students who would like to
study full time or part-time to get their diploma before applying to
universities/colleges in Canada or elsewhere. Students can join the program at
any time after finishing grade 8. The test is written in Grade 10 for students
to show case their literacy skills are while they still have time to improve
them before finishing school.
The Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT) -
is based on the reading and writing expectations in all subject areas up to the
end of Grade 9. These skills are the basis for learning in all subject areas
throughout both elementary and secondary school.
The test includes two test booklets which contain
reading and writing activities. In total, there are five reading passages, 41
multiple choice questions and 8 written response activities, including 6 short
answer questions and 2 long writing tasks. The test is administered in two 75
minute sessions with a break in between each session.
All Grade 10 students in Ontario who are working
toward an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) must write this test.
The administration of the OSSLT will take place from:
X
Wednesday, October 13, to
Wednesday, December 1, 2021, with individual student results reported by the
end of January 2022.
X
Wednesday, March 23, to Wednesday,
May 18, 2022, with individual student results reported by the end of June 2022.
Students who do not pass the test may retake the test
the following year. For some students, the best option is to take the Grade 12
Literacy Course and receive direct instruction in needed areas while earning an
additional credit towards graduation.
For students graduating in 2021–2022 school year,
the OSSLT requirement has been waived, graduating students will not have to
take the OSSLT.
Our University Preparation Program (Grade 12) is 1-
year program designed for students to get the high school diploma who have
finished grade 11 or grade 12 so they can apply to any Universities/Colleges
inside or outside of Canada.
